Chalice specializes in the import and distribution of monastic products in Taiwan. This allows the monks and nuns of the world’s great monasteries to be self-sufficient and to continue praying for humankind. The money they earn ensures each monastery has enough to cover their daily needs such as food, water, shelter and to care for elderly members in poor health. Any money leftover is donated to charitable causes.
At Chalice, we price our goods fairly and ethically, earning just enough to cover the modest costs of doing business. A portion of the proceeds from each sale are donated to charities and medical research. This practice is line with the Rule of St. Benedict, specifically chapter 57 which states “In pricing, one should never show greed, but should sell things below the going secular rate. Thus God will be glorified in all things.”
To us, this is not just a business venture, but an opportunity to share our Catholic faith and the beautiful story behind each monastery and monastic order with the people of Taiwan. By doing so, we hope to foster a greater sense of understanding.
We encourage these divine imports to be enjoyed responsibly in the company of friends and family. We hope that by doing so, each person is filled with peace of mind, body, and spirit.
Chalice specializes in monastic beverages. We import and distribute the finest handcrafted beers, wines and liqueurs of the world’s greatest monasteries to the people of Taiwan. Interested in having your organization’s products represented in Taiwan? Contact us today!
聖杯在台灣也秉持著同樣的信念，我們的產品價格也會遵守同樣的理念，除了讓公司正常營運外，我們的每一分盈餘都會捐出部分作為公益及贊助醫療研究，如同聖本篤教條所說：“In pricing, one should never show greed, but should sell things below the going secular rate. Thus God will be glorified in all things.”
